In Year 7, maths stops waiting. The pace lifts, topics start stacking on each other, and the small gaps that never mattered in primary school — a shaky grip on negative numbers, guessing at order of operations — quietly start costing marks in everything that comes after.

Most parents don't find out where those gaps are until the first high school report card.

This term is about finding them now. We work through the exact Year 6 content that Year 7 assumes your child already has: data analysis (interpreting and comparing data sets, mean, median and mode), indices, order of operations, the whole number system including negatives, and using a calculator efficiently rather than as a crutch.

Your child walks into Year 7 knowing this material cold. You walk in knowing exactly where they stand.

Classes are capped at 5 students so we're working on your child's gaps, not the class average.
